SatisfiedShe gazes into mirrors Just to pass the time Wondering if there’s something else Lingering on the other side She cannot take unknowing She cannot think to breathe This creature that sits beyond her hand Is suffocating silently She cannot understand What delivers her twisted thoughts It’s not like she feels rejected So there’s no reason to feel distraught But still there’s something there That’s yearning to be freed Yet she cannot figure why She feels the desire to bleed She’s shaking with a razor Grasped tightly in her hand Palms sweatSatisfied

Graceful LifeThe sun shone bright on that early summer morning As it warmed the glass beads of dew And the birds’ sweet songs offered me the warning That a beautiful day had started anewGraceful Life
I opened my eyes and stared up at the deep blue sky And pondered about all I was fortunate enough to see While undoing my sleeping bag I let out a sigh And cherished the brilliant feeling of being free
I started a fire and warmed my hands In preparation of a new day full of exhilaration And carefully designed the entire day’s plans As I fell into harmony with all of creation

They Say FreakBottlecaps are worn In a victory for fashion… The glass shatters and screams And she takes the kiss from clumsy. They Say Freak
Petite beads of intoxication sliver around {always} slicing through her. (As the razor flakes between the fingers….)
Pick her up. Stumble along. Let her ride the carousel and spin A little while longer. Round and round they go

Pumpkin BloomClimb into the pumpkin seed Salted trickling sweatPumpkin Bloom
Bleeding beneath Such a crisp tortoise shell
Breathe unto a cane Violated blank defiance Boldly sprouting Such a carnival of disciples
Shelter fragile blossoms Passionate ignorance Carelessly awaiting Such a firm mutilation
Pray to a jade goddess Opaque veils of vines Curiously shielding
Such a resilient rind
Cry for an earthly mother Foretold silent submission Cleverly aborting Such a pumpkin in bloom

That boy.
What to say of him?
He was the first… The first to notice, The one who chose to forget Those thoughts that belonged to others And let them flutter loosely away
